Club career

As a professional, Randy made his debuts for local side UD Las Palmas, playing once for the first team in the 2008–09 season, as the Canary Islands side was in the second division. He spent the vast majority of his first three seasons as a senior with the reserve squad.

In the following summer, Randy served a season-long loan at CD Mirandés, in the third level.

International career

In July 2010, Randy received his first call for the Equatoguinean national team, for a friendly match against Morocco on 11 August.[1] However, he rejected the call to concentrate on club duties with Las Palmas' first team.

Randy's international debut came on 12 October 2010, in a 0–2 friendly loss with Botswana in Malabo.[2]

Personal life

Randy comes from a multiracial background, his father (last name Iyanga) hailing from Equatorial Guinea, while his mother comes from the Canary Islands.
